The Distributed Learning System (DLS) provides a mobile, digital alternative to producing and maintaining printed curricula for a class or course. Users must have an authorized login for the DLS server. Class texts are pushed to students’ iPads, and updated automatically when the curricula change. In addition, students can take quizzes, tests, assessments, and surveys from the app, and their results are stored in a central database for evaluation and analysis. Using DLS eliminates much of the cost of printing and distributing course materials, and makes curricula much more accessible to students both during and after the class.
